"La Flor #100", is part of my "La Flor 250 Series" and it marks a big milestone on the series:  100 Flowers out of 250 and as such, I was inspired to create a very distinct  piece which reverses my process: the background was painted first with many bright colors and it contains a hidden message close to my heart: it was painted by my 11 year old daughter and it reads "Somewhere Something Wonderful is Waiting to Happen", then the sculpted flower was added later.

To me each flower I paint represents every woman, each beautiful and unique in her own way.
